For patrons who are new to Clear Lake Resort
This facility is a rustic cabin and camping style resort, with over 60+ years of history. You will need to provide items such as: cooking utensils and bedding.
Day use: open year-round
Lodge Hours: Starting May 25, 2012 the lodge will be open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm through the summer season.
Restaurant Schedule: Open 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 5:45 pm. The grill in the restaurant will close at 5:45 pm. Non-grill items still will be available until 6:00 pm.
Winter Generators schedule: Generators are currently on 24hrs a day.
Cabin Rentals: Open year-round. Cabin check in 3:00 pm, check out is at 11:00 am.

Hiking Trails
Incredible trails and pathways wind through the park and around Clear Lake. The hiking trails provide a great activity for overnite campers or those who visit the park for just a day.

Fishing
During your free time, you can rent a boat from our boat rental facility and head out for an afternoon of fishing. This is great family fun for all ages.
Hourly and daily boat rentals are available and you may just catch some incredible cutthroat trout.

Waterfalls
At Clear Lake Resort, in the Cascade Mountains, waterfalls are sprinkled throught the park. The mountain setting offers amazing views and experiences.

Boating
Join us for a day on the pristing waters of Clear Lake and enjoy fishing, rowing, paddling and sight-seeing from our fleet of row boats.
Hourly and daily rowboat rentals are available. Please note: maintaining peace and quiet is important to everyone at Clear Lake Resort, so power boats of any kind are not allowed on the lake.

Crystal Clear Water
The water clarity at Clear Lake Resort is incredible. Because of the cool, year-round temperatures, depths reaching to almost 200 feet, and location of the lake, sights like this underwater petrified tree.

Winter Cabin Rentals
Stay in one of our five types of rustic, cozy cabins. Perfect for families, friends, honeymooners, groups and even fishing buddies — these cabins sleep 2 to 8 people each. Bring your own bedding, towels, food, dishes and all the usual camping stuff EXCEPT for the tent.
The lodge is open from 8am to 4:30pm, 7 days a week; the generator is available for limited hours only. Remember to bring your own traction devices during the winter months. Cabins can be reserved online (above) or by calling our office at (541)967-3917.
Lakeviews
Clear Lake , with its maximum depth of 200 feet and average water temperature of 43 degrees year-round, forms the headwaters of the McKenzie River. For years, this area has been preserved to protect its unusual natural ecosystem and beauty.
Nearby Attractions
Black Butte Ranch is located on the McKenzie Pass-Santiam Pass Scenic Byway. This idyllic ranch offers outstanding outdoor activities from golfing to fly fishing. You can take a trail ride, visit one of the horse camps, or bike along the 18 miles of paved trails (bike rentals are available). Play on one of the 23 tennis courts, go swimming in the indoor or outdoor pool, or do some canoeing and kayaking on Phalarope Lake. Two beautiful golf courses are available for public play: the Glaze Meadow Golf Course and the Big Meadow Golf Course (recently renovated). For more information go to: Black Butte Ranch

Hoodoo Ski Area is a great, winter playground for winter sports like cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, sledding, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. Hoodoo offers 5 ski lifts, an Autobahn Tube Park, 2 day lodges, equipment rentals, restuarants and a Nordic and Snowboard Center. Hoodoo is located on the summit of the Santiam Pass on Highway 20, just 20 miles northwest of Sisters, 40 miles northwest of Bend, 75 miles east of Albany, 85 miles southeast of Salem, and 75 miles northeast of Springfield/Eugene. McKenzie Pass-Santiam Pass Scenic Byway This 82-mile route through the Willamette
and
Deschutes National Forest lets you set your own pace. You can take a two-hour
drive along this scenic roadway, enjoying vistas of the snowcapped Cascade
peaks and dramatic lava fields. Or spend a more leisurely five hours exploring
the Byway with stops at robins-egg blue lakes, rushing waterfalls like Sahalie
and Koosah Falls, and deep forests. You'll see volcanoes that are covered in
glaciers and snow, views of Broken Top Mountain and the Three Sisters, and
hiking along the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. Stop at the Dee Wright
Observatory for amazing views of the peaks.
